Your future tasks

As an Expert in Corporate Sustainability and Strategy, you will lead a multidisciplinary team on challenging sustainability assignments across various industries, including Consumer Goods & Retail, Energy, Utilities, Postal, Telecommunications, and Pharmaceutical. You will deliver complex projects that help clients achieve their sustainability goals.

In addition to client support, you will be a thought leader, continuously monitoring the latest sustainability trends relevant to our industries. You will use this knowledge to develop new propositions and perspectives for our company.

Furthermore;

• Deliver sustainability projects, including strategy design, transformation management, and calculating corporate carbon footprints.
• Guide clients in developing sustainable business strategies and integrating innovative concepts and technologies.
• Develop new business through your network and manage senior client stakeholder relationships.
• Monitor sustainability trends and translate them into thought leadership and new propositions.
• Lead and improve our growing sustainability practice within the European BearingPoint network.

Your profile

• Master's degree, preferably in corporate sustainability, technical, or business/energy focus.
• Proven track record (5-10 years) in sustainability and/or management consultancy or industry experience in sustainability.
• Strong analytical skills and numerical understanding.
• Proven project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

Preferred candidates have experience in:

• Corporate sustainability
• Socio-environmental challenges (e.g., climate change, biodiversity, diversity and inclusion, resource and waste management)
• CSRD/CSDDD
• ESG frameworks
• Greenhouse gas accounting
• Sustainable business strategies/models
• Sustainable development goals
• Change management
